Based in Reims, KLAYZ is a beatmaker working across trap, R&B and jazz influences. His instrumentals explore a dark, melancholic and sometimes tragic atmosphere while keeping their sense of rhythm and energy.
From writing verses to producing beats
Music has been part of KLAYZ’s life since childhood. He first started out rapping, then began producing his own instrumentals instead of buying beats. Over time, beatmaking became his main form of artistic expression.
Driven by a desire to experiment and move beyond familiar conventions, he aims to develop a sound of his own. His productions seek to convey emotion, inspire mental strength and create moments that listeners can simply enjoy and move to.
